 FLOOR REPRESENTATIVES

Every resident of McCarty Hall is welcome to be a Floor Representative for their respective floor! Floor reps are members of the Hall Council that represent their floors and serve as a direct connection between the MHC and residents on the floor who may be unable to attend the weekly general council meetings but have information to share or have questions. This position is a great place for students that want to engage their community but need a smaller time commitment (1-2 hours per week)

Floor Reps do the following:

  • Attend weekly Hall Council meetings on Monday evenings

  • Bring ideas for community engagement

  • Support programming efforts for McCarty Hall

  • Have the opportunity to be involved in programming committees

  • Vote in any campus or community initiatives for ASUW or RCSC

  • Provides updates to their floormates when applicable

What will an interview look like?

Interviews will be very low-intensity and are intended to give us an idea of where folx's strengths are, their goals, and how MHC can complement those strengths and goals!

After applying, you will get an email from the MHC advisor. You may be invited to schedule an interview. The goal of these interviews is to get to know you, why you want to be involved in our Hall Council, and to answer any questions you may have!

If you have any questions before the interview, please contact us!
