You should consider joining Hall Council!

OPEN POSITIONS
While the MHC is open to all community members and there is no application necessary to join as a general member, MHC also has a variety of positions that folks can apply for for a more personalized experience. Each position has a different focus, but all involve building our community! The position descriptions below can help you apply for the role that best fits your goals, strengths, or areas you want to improve on this school year.
It is important to note that while you may not currently have the skills or experience involved in certain roles yet, one of the goals of this council is to build those skills! If you are interested in a position but don't know if you are qualified, go ahead and apply. Even if that position is not a good fit for your goals, we can work with you to find a position that works for you and we want to help you build the skills you need to be successful!
Representatives
(University Orgs)
Representative positions allow residents to focus on specific interests and skills while still building the community and leadership in our Hall Council. Representatives attend a weekly meeting for their designated group to both represent McCarty Hall in those spaces and to gather information to share with use during general council meetings.
Floor Representatives
Each floor in McCarty will have at least one floor representative though we are aiming for two per floor. These representatives are a direct connection for residents on those respective floors and are a way for folks to stay connected with the MHC even if they are unable to attend our weekly general council meetings on Monday evenings.
